Kadere Self Help Introduces KD-RIDE, a Driver-Owned Revolution in Transportation

In a groundbreaking move towards self-empowerment and community-driven innovation, Kadere Self Help proudly announces the launch of KD-RIDE, a revolutionary taxi app that is not just for Kenyans but, more importantly, by Kenyans. KD-RIDE is set to redefine the landscape of transportation by putting the power back into the hands of the drivers who make it all happen.

By Kenyans, For Kenyans: KD-RIDE is more than just a ride-sharing app; it is a testament to the spirit of unity and self-determination. As the first driver-owned, managed, controlled, and funded app in Kenya, KD-RIDE is a true embodiment of the community coming together for the greater good.

Key Features:

  1. Driver-Owned: KD-RIDE is owned by the very individuals who navigate the bustling streets of Kenya every day—the drivers themselves. This ownership structure ensures that decisions are made with the best interests of both drivers and passengers in mind.
  2. Driver-Managed: Who better to understand the needs of drivers than the drivers themselves? KD-RIDE is managed by a team of experienced drivers who bring their insights and firsthand knowledge to the forefront, ensuring that the app is tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities in the Kenyan transportation landscape.
  3. Driver-Controlled: Empowerment is about giving control to those who deserve it. KD-RIDE allows drivers to have a say in the operations, policies, and future developments of the app. This democratic approach ensures that the voices of Kenyan drivers are heard and valued.
  4. Driver-Funded: KD-RIDE is not beholden to external investors; it is funded by the drivers who believe in its vision. This financial independence allows KD-RIDE to prioritize the well-being of drivers and passengers over profit margins, fostering a community-centric approach to transportation.

Liberation Through Innovation: KD-RIDE represents a significant step towards liberation through innovation. By placing control, ownership, and funding in the hands of the drivers, we are fostering a sense of pride and autonomy within the Kenyan community. This driver-owned model is a testament to our commitment to creating a transportation system that truly serves the people it intends to benefit.

Its a good initiative for the marginalised group of workers, drivers has been the backbone of our ever-growing economy for so long but they have been always sidelined when it comes to matters affecting the sector. With this action, things are determined to change for better
